Album of forty-seven albumen prints, approx. 8 x 10 in., hand-coloured, one four-part panorama, approx. 7¼ x 37¾ in. and one three-part panorama, 8 x 30.7/8 in., the majority numbered and titled in the negatives, tissue guards, red lacquer boards with floral decoration (spine and front cover missing), 10.5/8 x 13¾ in.

Including Nagasaki, Tagami, Kobe, Yokohama, Iwabuchi, Tokyo, Hakodate, Chemulpo (Korea) and Chefod (China). Also includes a photograph of Queen's Road Central (Hong Kong). The album contains views of harbours, waterfalls, temples and gardens as well as occupational portraits of musicians, fencers, dancing girls, tea plantation workers, cloth-store workers, washer-women, lantern-makers, porcelain shop workers, fishermen, rice-workers and rope-dancers. The panoramas are untitled harbour views.
