Three albums containing approx. 120 gelatin silver and albumen prints, sizes from approx. 3 x 3 in. to 9 x 11½ in. or the reverse and a two part panorama, 7.7/8 in. x 23 in., some titled in ink on mounts, some titled and/or numbered in the negatives, thirteen with Lambert & Co blindstamps, one brown half leather, 14.7/8 x 11 in., one black half leather, 14¾ x 11¼ in., one leather-backed green cloth, 10.5/8 x 14 in.; with two loose gelatin silver prints (5)

Interesting and varied group of albums including street-scenes, panoramic views, family portraits, group portraits, stall-holders, harbour views, landscapes, houses, churches; many depicting aspects of colonial life in various countries. Approx. twenty-five early views of South Africa including several of Table Mountain and a few of soldiers in the period leading to the Boer war. Also includes one panorama titled View of Hong Kong looking in the direction of[?Hine]Carter's Island
