Circular box, the hinged cover, sides and base of glass, the gold mounts of the lid enamelled with a foliate gold paillon wavescroll band enclosing simulated pearls on an engine-turned translucent blue enamelled ground, framed by white enamel stripes, the gold mounts on the base enamelled in opaque white with short bands alternating with double dots
