Baron Ernst Eugen von Görlitz descended from an old Silesian family and was styled Count in 1806. He was Obersthofmeister of the Queen of Württemberg and died in 1830. He married Luise Baroness von Gemmingen-Fürfeld and had two sons, Friedrich (b. 1795) and Karl August (b. 1798).
