Compare with smaller versions of this celadon glass vase but without the lipped rim: an 18th-century vase (9.2 cm. high) included in the exhibition Treasures from the Lakeside Pavilion, jointly presented by the Virginia and Edward Chow Foundation and Collections Baur, Geneva, 1988-1989, Catalogue, no. G9, p. 24; and another (12.2 cm. high) sold in these Rooms, 5 November 1997, lot 937.

Also compare an orange Beijing glass vase of identical shape illustrated by H. Moss, Arts from the Scholar's Studio, no. 94.
