The small vase is intricately carved with a dense design of shou characters flanked by archaistic dragons and surrounded by leiwen on the broad central register between bands of ruyi scrolls and key-fret, the base carved with a Yu wan mark within a square, the stepped cover surmounted by a coral finial, the jade of a milky-white tone with amber inclusions
