The first of cylindrical form on three short feet and lacquered in dark-brown, carved partially in openwork with a scholar seated among rockwork below pine branches and a waterfall, the reverse with three figures making tea in an opening, small chips and age cracks, 6¼ in. (15.9cm.) high; the second carved with scholars and attendants among pine trees and rockwork, on three scrolling feet, small split, age cracks, 6.1/8 in. (15.5cm.) high (2)
