The first of oval form, carved to each side with lotus sprays and calligraphy in cursive script by You Shiqing, 4¾ in. (12.1cm.) high; and another, of cylindrical form, carved with peony branches issuing from a jardiniere, the reverse with a screen depicting a deer and scholar's objects, atrist's sealmark, 6½ in. (16.5cm.) high (2)
