A FINE LARGE YUAN CARVED RED LACQUER DISH

Deeply carved with a pair of exotic long-tailed birds in flight amidst leafy camelia branches with five large flowerheads and numerous smaller buds, the details of the wing and tail feathers and veining of flowers finely incised, the exterior deeply carved with a classic-scroll band, standing on a ring foot, the base lacquered black, restored, age cracks
12½ in. (31.8cm.) diam.
