Of compressed globular form and flat cover with inset carnelian finial, painted with a shaped cartouche depicting three scholars studying a scroll on a riverbank beside rockwork, the reverse with a scene of two further scholars seated before a boy attendant and large jar, on a yellow ground painted with scrolling lotus and peonies within key-fret borders, three corners of covers with old restoration, small bruise to spout
