TANG DYNASTY (618-907)
Three of the figures modelled as Central Asian farmers, the two male figures with finely detailed features, including facial hair, hooked noses and well defined cheekbones, both with long handled farming implements, the third a female figure with prominent pointed nose and long arms also holding a hoe, the fourth of more asiatic apperance with a sash tied around his head and a sachel slung over his shoulder, all with large areas of original pigment remaining
