With signatures of Goethe and Christian Gottlob Voigt as representatives of the Saxe-Weimar and Eisenach Mining-Commission and secretary Karl Wilhelm Voigt. With two related contemporary documents regarding the same share, dated 5 and 9 May 1798, each 1 p., folio, enclosed in early paper folder; maroon morocco protective case. Fine. An attractive certificate. Goethe and Voigt had been placed in ceremonial charge of these once productive mines which were to be re-opened and revitalized.
