Lot Essay
Edward Wormley worked at Dunbar from 1931 to 1941, and established his own New York design firm in 1945. Although Wormley left Dunbar after World War II, he still contributed furniture designs to the firm. The present lot is typical of Wormley's post-war Scandinavian-influenced work, and is tagged on the underside with a brass Dunbar label
