A MEISSEN (AUGUSTUS REX) SEA-GREEN GROUND BEAKER-FORM VASE
Circa 1730, blue AR monogram mark, by J.G. Heoroldt and J.E. Stadler
Of flaring cylindrical form, the upper and lower sections reserved with four mirror cartouches surrounded by gilt double lines and painted by J.G. Heoroldt on one side and by J.E. Stadler on the other with Oriental figures in landscapes at various pursuits, the bulbous white middle section again painted by Stadler and Heoroldt with similar decoration between gilt scrollwork
