Blue interlaced L's mark enclosing date letter KK for 1789 and painter's mark for Levé and incised 29 to the cup, the saucer with painter's mark for Fontaine, incised 43
Painted in colours on the yellow ground with arabesques supporting an urn of flowers flanked by exotic birds, the border with a flowering vine, the saucer with a slightly darker ground color and decorated with a neo-classical centerpiece of pink roses; together with a Sèvres cup and saucer, blue interlaced L's enclosing date letter LL for 1789, painter's mark for Fontaine, similarly decorated with a puce arabesque on a pale-blue ground suspending an urn enriched in gilt
