Lot Essay

The present form was designed by Alexandre Evariste Fragonard, the dominant personality in the creation of shapes at the factory throughout the period 1820-1840.

The gilder's mark is that of Pierre-Nicolas Richard, recorded at Sèvres as a gilder 1815-1848.
