Stamped twice J.F. DUBUT and four times JME, Circa 1740
The rounded rectangular liver marble top above a drop-front disguised as a drawer front, enclosing two pigeon-holes flanked by two smaller pigeon-holes and two short quarter-veneered drawers, one drawer fitted, the kneehole apron enclosing a frieze drawer flanked by two square drawers, one fitted with a coffre-fort the sides quarter-veneered, on cabriole legs with acanthus-sheathed scrolled sabots
