signed on the silvered compass dial Stanley Gt,, Turnstile Holborn London, the telescope with rack and pinion focusing, graduated bubble level, lens hood with dust slide, four spider's web adjusters, the 5-inch silvered vertical circle with twin verniers (the magnifiers missing), with axis raised on twin A-frame supports incorporating a bubble level, tangent-screw fine adjustment with clamp, the horizontal plate with compass, the edge-bar needle with jewelled pivot, with cross bubble, the chamfered silvered horizontal circle with twin verniers (magnifiers missing), on four-screw tripod attachment, in the original mahogany case with leather outer cover -- 13¾in.
