A late 16th-Century ivory diptych dial,
unsigned but dated 1599, possibly Dieppe, probably unfinished, with punched hour scale, Roman numerals, (compass card missing), with two hooks and eyes and suspension loop, of octagonal form -- 2½in. (6.3cm.) long; and a 19th-Century Chinese paktong incense burner, with engraved decoration of beasts, birds and landscapes, the base with copper rim, with tray and grille modelled with geometric decoration, the cover with pierced grille (some old damages), the curved burner on moulded plinth base incorporating an under tray -- 4½in. (11.4cm.) wide
