by Adie London, the telescope with rack and pinion focusing to the eyepiece (mising), a bubble level fixed to one side, on the other a glazed case with edge-bar needle and clamp, the finely engraved silvered circle with twin verniers labelled A and B, twin magnifiers (one missing) and bubble level, supported on a limb frame with tangent-screw fine adjustment, the base with bubble level and chamfered scale with twin vernirs and single magnifier with tangent-screw fine adjustment and maker's signature, raised on fully adjustable staff mounting, in original fitted mahogany case with maker's label to the interior of the door ADIE OPTICIAN Mathematical and Philosophical Instrument Maker 395 Strand LONDON, with spare eyepiece attachment and bubble level, brass carrying handle and two hooks and eyes -- 123/8in. (31.4cm.) high; and a late 19th-Century brass compound binocular microscope, signed on the stand Watson Bros 4 PORCHESTER RDBISHOP'S RD BAYSWATER, with sub-stage mirror and adjustable stage, in the original fitted mahogany case with tweezers, stage forceps, bull's-eye condenser (without base), frog-plate with fitted glass section (cracked), two eyepieces and spare ¼in. objective, the case (defective) -- 15½in. (39.4cm.) high
