A COALPORT 'JEWELLED' PALE-BLUE AND IVORY GROUND CIRCULAR BOX AND COVER
Late 19th/early 20th century, printed green mark, retailer's mark for Ovington Brothers
The domed cover with a 'jewelled' lozenge reserved on pale-blue with central diamond-shaped 'ruby' within a gilt bezel set with further 'ruby' diadems and pink and pearl 'jewels' issuing pendant bell-flowers and foliate scroll work on the shaped ivory ground, the interior with powdered gold on a salmon-pink ground
