A Howdy Doody marionette used in the production of the 1970's television revival. The piece was used by "Buffalo Bob" Smith and made by the renowned puppet/marionette maker, Paul Ashley. The marionette has 18 points of articulation, from his side to side, controlled centering eyes down to his articulated-toe cowbow boots. The piece is entirely handcrafted with original checkered shirt, blue bandana, jeans leather belt, hand tailored wig, and suede cowboy boots. The marionette was crafted for "Buffalo Bob" when he started his revival in 1970 at The University of Pennsylvania and has been restored to full working order by "Buffalo Bob's" famed puppeteer, "Pady" Blackwood - Height: 27in.
