A cross-shaped medal measuring eight inches in height and length and featuring gold and silver-tone metal detailing including a wild beast's head a top a knight's ornate helmet and the word "Courage" largely applied over a bright blue banner. With attached vintage-inspired red and white ribbon design. This is an exact replica of The Cowardly Lion's Triple Cross medal given to him by the Wizard of Oz and was made directly from the original sand cast mold from which the on-screen metal was cast in 1938. Commissioned by The Comisar Collection in 1995, the medal took several months to complete and was rendered by Hollywood's most respected metal artists. Presented on its own custom-made Emerald green velvet pillow detailed with Oz-inspired buttons. "Courage, aint it the truth" (3)
