A Meissen Hausmalerie slop bowl
painted in underglaze blue and decorated in the Ferner workshop, the interior with circular panel of flowering plants within a continuous border of buildings, birds and figures playing musical instruments, the exterior painted in underglaze blue and gilt with flowering Oriental shrubs, blue crossed swords mark, the porcelain circa 1740, the decoration slightly later (rubbing to gilding) -- 17cm. diam.
