The coffee-pot with reeded moulded spout and ear-shaped handle, possibly decorated in the London workshop of David Rhodes, inscribed William, & Elizabeth, Maybury 1778 in black within an iron-red and black garland, the reverse painted in colours with an Oriental figure in a garden (restoration to rim and tip of spout); the domed cover printed and painted with a vignette of an angel sounding his trumpet and with a rose-spray (chips to rim and to finial)
