One-page typed letter, signed 'Wernher Von Braun', from U.S. Army Ordnance Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, with date stamp 13 June 1958, 4°, to Mr Reynolds of Frederick Muller Ltd., regretting he has no plans to write his memoirs 'I am human and vain enough to think that I am still a bit too young to undertake such a project', with later annotations in a different hand (slight creasing, pin holes to top left corner).
With a typed letter signed by W.G. Penney of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority, dated 10th February 1964, 4°, saying he can not write a foreword to a book entitled Project Apollo as he has no knowledge about interplanetary travel.
