Autograph manuscript in Russian, red and black ink on squared paper, signed, [1928?], 8pp, 4°, entitled 'Nikolina Vera (Belief in Nicholas)', with various autograph additions and corrections, an account of the various guises in which St. Nicholas appeared in Russia and the beliefs associated with them (thumb soiling and small holes to spine).

Remizov's published writings include short stories and novels dealing with contemporary urban life, tales of the grotesque and fantastic, recreations of old Russian folk tales, legends and mystery plays. He left Russia in 1921 to settle in Paris. His symbolist writings had a strong influence on other Russian writers.
