One-page letter, signed 'Votre affectoné Cousin/Jacques R', Rome, 28 March 1725, 4°, subscription and postscript in autograph, integral address leaf, to 'Mon Cousin Le Duc de Montemiletti', thanking the Duke for his congratulations on the birth of his second son (Henry Benedict, (1725-1807), later Cardinal of York), and recognising his obligations to the house of Orsini. The autograph postscript sends 'Biens des compliments' to the Princess de Montemiletti (seal tear, very faint later pencil annotations, slight offsetting of signature).
