The first carved in openwork with a hawk in a pine tree, a gardener's basket at its base, unsigned; and another carved as an ashinaga [long-legged foreigner] with an imaginary creature crouched between his feet, signed on the base in the form of a seal (but with the characters not in reverse) Shoryu
