Edo period (18th century)
A circular brass sukashi tsuba carved with fern shoots, the edge inlaid with karakusa in shakudo hirazogan [flat inlay], Akita Shoami school, 8.15cm.; and a small sentoku tsuba with peacocks' feathers and karakusa in minute inlays of gold, signed Chikuzen no ju Masaaki, 6.4cm. (2)
