A Worcester shaped oval dish
Circa 1775, blue crescent mark
Painted with the 'Lord Henry Thynne' pattern of a vignette of buildings by a river in a landscape within a turquoise and gilt foliate border surrounded by exotic birds in flight, fruit and flower-garlands, beneath a blue-ground border enriched in gilt with diaper-pattern panels joined by ropetwist ornament (slight wear and flaking to enamels, slight wear to gilding)
