Edo Period (18/19th Century)
A shakudo kozuka with fourteen different types of nanako including double and triple nanako; shakudo, a tiger by a waterfall in shishiaibori and takabori, silver, gilt and copper details, signed Suifu no ju Shosuiken Yoshiaki with a kao; shakudo nanako with horse trappings in iroe takazogan, Goto school; shakudo nanako, carved and inlaid with a hawk and pine tree in copper, gilt and shibuichi; shakudo carved and inlaid in shibuichi with swimming trout, gilt details, signed Ichiryu Tomoyoshi with a gilt kao, from a design by Koizumi; silver, carved with fishing boats at sea, Goto school; shakudo mikakiji, with thrushes in silver, copper and gilt hirazogan with a tree in katakiri (7)
