Three North Italian sgraffiato small bowls
Early 16th century
Splashed with green and ochre glazes, one with a portrait of a young man in profile to the left within a border of scrolling foliage and a narrow flat rim (cracked across and repaired), 6¼in. (16cm.) diam.; another similar with a portrait of a lady (damaged and restored), 6¼in. (16cm.) diam.; and another of deep form with a bird with wings displayed within a hexagonal cartouche (crack across, repaired, rim chips and flaking), 4¾in. (12cm.) diam. (3)
