A FINE RUBY AND DIAMOND NECKLACE
Designed as two rows of cushion-shaped rubies with later three-stone diamond fringe and diamond inner border to the buckle-link backchain, circa 1935, 35.5 cm., in a blue leather fitted case
With certificate 35194 dated 1/3/2000 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that the rubies are of Burmese origin and show no indications of thermal enhancement. Approximately one sixth of the stones are clarity enhanced by red oil.
