A Venice (Cozzi) oval two-handled soup-tureen and cover
Circa 1780, red anchor mark
With herm handles, their raised arms above their heads, decorated in underglaze-blue and gilt with tied bouquets and with scattered gilt foliage-sprays beneath a blue line and gilt dentil rim, the cover with tied lily-of-the-valley and rose bouquet finial (restoration to tureen, crack to cover, some minor chipping to finial)
