A Mennecy silver-mounted snuff-box
Circa 1765, the mounts with décharge of Jean-Jacques Prévost, Paris 1762-68
Modelled as a puce-edged scroll-moulded basket filled with small yellow fruits and green leaves, the cover moulded with a puce and yellow chrysanthemum, the interior of the cover with a loose bouquet (slight chip to end of basket and beneath the mounts)
