1779, blue interlaced L mark above date letters bb and painter's marks of Vieillard and Buteux, indistinct incised marks
Painted with a sportsman and companion in an extensive wooded landscape between borders of entwined gilt foliage and blue ribbon between gilt line and dentil rims (slight rubbing to gilt rims)
