A Meissen figure of Pluto and Cerberus
Circa 1745, blue crossed swords mark at back
The bearded Pluto in gilt crown and scantily clad in yellow drapery, holding a staff and standing before the three-headed dog Cerberus, on an oval mound base (left arm and hand repaired, restoration to his right fingers, top of staff and part of drapery, chips to crown and two ears of dog)
