A Meissen figure of a pastry-seller from the 'Cris de Paris' series Circa 1755, blue crossed swords mark at back, incised 1
Modelled by P. Reinicke, in white scarf and blouse, yellow bodice, indianische Blumen apron and pink skirt with a puce-patterned hem, carrying a basket of pastries over her left arm and standing before a tree-stump on a scroll-moulded mound base enriched in gilding and applied with flowers and foliage (restoration to right index finger, handle and part of basket and some pastries, chip to edge of one pastry, part of another pastry lacking, slight chips to flowers and foliage)
