A Meissen coffee-cup and saucer
Circa 1745, blue crossed swords mark, gilder's B. and Pressnummer 6 to cup and 2 to footrim of saucer
The cup with moulded gilt wishbone and scroll handle, painted with a gallant and companion beside an obelisk in a wooded landscape vignette and with scattered flower-sprays within a gilt scrolling foliage border, the saucer similarly decorated (minute glaze blemish to rim of cup near handle)
