A Meissen two-handled oval tureen and cover
Circa 1750, blue crossed swords mark
Of Neubrandenstein form with moulded puce and gilt shell and scroll handles, painted with scattered deutsche Blumen, the cover with a finial of a girl seated on a flowering branch and with gilt line rim (one handle with slight chip, finial broken through waist and restored, minute chipping to flowers of finial)
