A Ludwigsburg figure of a fruit-picker
Circa 1770, blue crowned interlaced C mark, puce painter's mark
Modelled by P.F. Lejeune, in blue-lined brown waistcoat, white shirt and stockings, yellow trousers and black shoes, holding a sack of fruit over his right shoulder and his hat in his left hand, standing before a tree-stump on a mound base moulded with gilt scrolls (minor chipping to ribbons)
