A French ormolu and white marble garniture
In the Louis XVI style, Last quarter 19th Century
Comprising a clock and a pair of three-light candelabra: the clock as a scantily-clad woman leaning against a drapery-covered fluted pedestal, supporting a portrait of a seventeenth century man, a putto and dog sat on the opposite side, the circular white enamel dial with ribbon-tied foliate crest and with pierced foliate hands, Arabic numerals and minute divisions, with twin-train movement with countwheel striking on a bell, on shaped laurel and bead-cast plinth and laurel-cast toupie feet; the candelabra each as a putto supporting three foliate branches each with rose-head nozzle, on circular laurel-cast plinth and laurel-cast and toupie feet, drilled for electricity
The clock: 10¼ in. (26 cm.) wide; 13½ in. (34.2 cm.) high; 5¾ in. (14.5 cm.) deep
The candelabra: 16 in. (40.6 cm.) high
