Lot Essay

'Caesar', a Pinscher, was the favourite dog of King Edward VII. He is remembered by many following his Master's funeral procession, unleashed.
King Edward VII's Pinscher Caesar and this breed was especially well sold as a plush toy between 1910 and 1920, by many toy manufacturers.
