with blond mohair, black shoe button eyes, pronounced clipped snout, black horizontally stitched nose, black stitched mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed limbs, padless arms, felt foot pads and hump --8in. (20cm.) tall, circa 1910 (moth damage to pads, considerable overall loss of mohair, lacks button); and 'Telford', a Chiltern teddy bear with golden mohair, deep amber and black glass eyes, clipped snout, black stitched nose and mouth, swivel head, jointed limbs and rexine pads --14in. (36cm.) tall, circa 1950 (cracking to pads, overall loss of mohair)
