of circular form on a cast foliate and scroll apron foot, with chased foliage and vacant scroll cartouches, with a wavy rim and a leaf-capped scroll handle, with a slightly domed chased cover and swirl foliage finial, makers mark overstruck by another, Edinburgh, 1842 - 18.5cm high, 26oz.
