A pair of carved walnut and needlework upholstered open armchairs, 19th century
In the late 17th century style, each with serpentine arched stuff-over back upholstered in gros point needlework with petit point depicting classical scenes including Perseus holding the head of Medusa and another with female figures beside a tree, having stuff-over seats with animals and acanthus-leaf carved scroll arm supports, on spirally-turned uprights, legs and joined by similar H-stretchers (2)
