The upper part with a moulded cornice and crossbanded frieze fitted with adjustable shelves and enclosed by a pair of ogee and pointed arched astragal glazed doors, the lower part with a reeded edge, having a panelled radiating veneered fall with central oval moulding, between deep dummy drawers fronts with lion ring-mask handles, enclosing a tooled leather lined surface and satinwood-veneered fitted interior with drawers flanking arched pigeon holes and recess, one of the interior drawers with compartment for pens, with adjustable shelves below and enclosed by a pair of panelled doors, on ogee bracket feet, bearing labels on the back Walter Carter Depository, Manchester, Pantechnicon, Miss Ray 135, Mult Street, Robinsons Ltd, Depositorys, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, no 13 Busby
