The figure seated on a coastline, the reverse inscribed painted by Henry Pierce on bone enamel, painter to Her Majesty also their Royal Highnesses the Duchess of Kent and Princess Victoria, from the original by Romney in the collection of Joseph Neeld Esq. M.P., the giltwood frame with velvet slip, the reverse with paper label Thomas Agnew & Sons, Dealers in Works of Fine Art, Manchester, Liverpool and London
