With renewal and restoration, in the manner of Louis le Gaigneur, the rectangular top inset with a black tooled leather panel with anthemion ornament of geometric broken outline, with spandrels inlaid with cut brass in foliate designs, within a foliate brass border, containing two brass moulded recessed panelled drawers in the frieze centred by a tablet with a mask with dummy drawers to the reverse, on dual baluster-turned columns and splayed legs with acanthus leaf ornament and brass paw caps and castors joined by a turned stretcher, stamped R.P under the tablets of the frieze to the back and front
